Mahindra is nearing the launch of the XUV300 facelift, also known as the XUV 3XO. To keep excitement high, they released a new teaser showcasing the interior and performance. Let’s see what’s new!

XUV400-Inspired Interior

The teaser unveils an XUV400-like interior with beige seats and a black dashboard. The digital instrument cluster resembles the XUV700’s, but with a likely absence of the “Zoom” drive mode.

Fastest in Segment: 0-60 kmph in 4.5 Seconds

Mahindra claims the XUV 3XO goes from 0-60 kmph in a blazing 4.5 seconds, making it the fastest in its segment. The claimed fuel efficiency is 20.1 kmpl.

Previously Teased Features

Earlier teasers revealed the new exterior design with C-shaped LED DRLs and headlamps, connected tail lamps, and a segment-first panoramic sunroof. Other expected features include ADAS driver assistance systems, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and wireless smartphone connectivity.

Expected Specifications

Engine options are likely to remain unchanged, with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-litre turbo TGDi petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines continuing. Currently, all engines come with manual and AMT transmissions. Hopefully, Mahindra will introduce a true automatic gearbox, at least for the petrol variants.

Launch and Price

Mahindra is set to unveil the XUV 3XO on April 29th, 2024, possibly revealing pricing as well. Reports suggest localized production might lead to lower prices. The current XUV300 starts from Rs. 9.39 lakh and goes up to Rs. 17.79 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Expect a price increase of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 depending on the variant.
